CLAHRC GM: how to get involved
Following on from the news in August 2013 that we secured £10 million in funding from the Department of Health for a further five years of CLAHRC work, we are now delighted to begin this work as of 1 January 2014. We are building on many of our past programmes of work in developing our three new themes of work: patient-centred care, primary care and community services.
The NIHR CLAHRC Greater Manchester encompasses a range of partners, including patients and carers, primary, community and mental health care providers, as well as third sector providers and industry. CLAHRC GM is one of 13 CLAHRC programmes in England, with £120 million invested in the programme nationally by the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR).
We are always keen to have discussions with organisations who would like to explore becoming partners in CLAHRC GM, and who can identify matched funding in cash and in kind.
Please email clahrc@srft.nhs.uk if you would like to explore options for working together.
