End-of-life Skills Survey Launched to Help Identify the Learning and Development Needs of Public Sector Workforce
Working in collaboration with Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust we are carrying out an end-of-life skills survey to identify the end-of-life care learning and development needs of community, acute and social care staff involved with providing palliative/end-of-life care.
Caring for people at the end-of-life was highlighted in the 2008 End-of-Life Strategy as one of the most rewarding and important areas of care - it is essential that practitioners feel confidently equipped with the relevant skills and knowledge to provide the best quality of care during this important phase of life.
Launching today, the end-of-life skills survey will be available within the Oldham locality and participants will be identified by Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust and the Oldham End-of-Life Partnership Group.
