The future of CLAHRC Greater Manchester

We are delighted to announce that we've been successful in securing £10 million in funding from the Department of Health for the NIHR CLAHRC Greater Manchester.

This funding will enable us to build on many of  our current programmes and develop new ones from January 2014. Professor Ruth Boaden will be the Director of CLAHRC Greater Manchester, which will include a range of partners including patients and carers, primary, community and mental health care providers, as well as third sector providers and industry.

The Department of Health announced CLAHRC Greater Manchester will be one of 13 CLAHRC programmes in England, with £120 million invested in the programme nationally.

We will provide further details of our programmes of work over the next few weeks, along with details of how you can get involved.
