Side Affect

Jane has had a psychotic episode. No problem – except she no longer feels the passion that made her a singing sensation. She needs to find a way to cope with the seismic effects of her medication, but who is really in control of her illness, and her life?

Funded by the NIHR CLAHRC Greater Manchester as part of THINKphysical: Manchester Mental Health Festival, Side Affect is a short theatre performance that takes you on an acute exploration of what it is like to live on antipsychotics in a fun, stimulating and participatory way.
